Moving to Music

Rhythmic movement is an important part of a child’s musical development.  When we walk, run, skip, or dance we move from one place to another.  This is called locomotor movement. I’m offering this as a resource for people who have the privilege of making music with children. After sixty years of teaching, I’m still learning.  My latest venture is making music with preschool children and a few young piano students.  For more ideas see Teaching Tips under the heading, Free Gems on this website.  www.WantToPlayByEar.com
