When I Survey the Wondrous Cross

Central to God’s life-giving message is the cross of Jesus Christ.  Through the cross God shows us His love – a love that is truly amazing.  The closing lines of this familiar hymn speak of a full response to God’s love: “Were the whole realm of nature mine, that were a present far too small. Love so amazing so divine, demands my soul, my life, my all.”
